Charlie McArthur is the creator and facilitator of the Change Thinking Program. From his first day of boarding school, he was nicknamed "Chill". The Chill Factor is a metaphor for the difference, the Chill can make for guys going through tough times. Gary's Story - Gary had only just joined the program 3 weeks earlier than this interview but after finding himself in the liquidation of his company. He was angry and wanted to hurt people. However, Gary's open mind, attitude and effort started paying off  immediately.  He remains a cool, calm & collected man.

Lee's Story -  a resident of Darwin. He used to be a heavy drinker, often succumbing to anger multiple times a day. When his marriage fell apart and his wife took his two daughters across the country, depression set in. However, He made a pivotal decision to give up alcohol over two years ago. Since then, he's transformed into a dedicated father and a supportive friend. He has navigated through hardship to emerge as a better version of himself.

Shaun's Story - Shaun had it much harder than most kids being abused living in a dysfunctional home, by the time he was an adult, he had involved himself with drugs and unemployment. He soon found himself facing jail time after breaching a DVO for the third time. Shaun went on to turn his life around and became the Change Thinker of the Year for 2022. 


Mike's Story - Mike was diagnosed with Asberger's from an early age and sent to a special school where he would be bullied to the extreme. By 30, he had never had a girlfriend and was a socially awkward and a very lonely man. He was jealous of other people's happiness. He turned to trolling other people and became morbidly obese and suffered balmia. Just take a look at how far Mike has come.   

Bo's Story - Bo's journey from a tumultuous past to a successful career in the energy sector has been nothing short of transformative. Coming from a background plagued by alcoholism and drug involvement, He made a conscious decision to turn his life around for the better. Now, as he eagerly awaits the arrival of his second child, he's grateful to be thriving in a career that he once thought was unattainable. Through it all, he has maintained a sense of composure.


Shane's Story - Shane is a busy man being father to five boys. So when his marriage came to a grinding halt despite trying everything he could, the family man's dream was shattered. See how Shane got some clarity and started prioritizing himself for a change and broke through his limiting beliefs. Shane went on to become the Change Thinker of the year in 2023. 

Dale's Story - Dale was working Fifo off shore in the gas industry when a series of events sent his thinking into overload. It became so intense he couldn't gather his thoughts and despite meaning well, pushed the closest people to him away. Dale was the ideal client to coach. He applied himself, proactivly kept in contact and applied the principles he was learning. Check it out. 

Sean's Story - After raising 3 children in his own to maturity, ages 47, he was called by the police to be told that his is the father to an unborn child to a woman who had recently called the police resulting in an AVO. A short time later, Sean would find himself homeless and caring for the child. Hear how Sean turned things around.

Noel's Story - Noel's is one of  the great stories of the Change Thinking Program. Returning to Australia after some family business back in Sri Lanka, Noel's world collapsed during coivid when he found himself, broke, with no income, totally alone and without a car after losing his new car sales job. Throw in a OCD reaction, he was in a really low place and not believing in himself. Check this one out. 


Shane's Story - Shane found himself in a state of depression after the breakdoewn of a relationship, an extended period of drug use and homeless with his son. Today he holds a supervisor status in the mine where he does Fifo work. Now facing the future with anticipation as opposed to apprehenshion. Another great story of a massive turn around. 

 

Graham's Story - Graham was a chef when he joined the Change Thinking Program. Years of hospitality culture had led Graham to habitual drinking habits, he had lost sight of clear thinking a long time ago. With stress growing, something had to give. Watch this video to see what gave way and where Graham is today. A massive change for the better 

 

Greg's Story - After a failed marriage of 20 years, Greg had started to beleve the words of his ex-wife. With self esteem and sef worth extreamly low, Greg then lost the two most important people in his life when both passed away sending him to new lows. See how Greg stepped out of his comfort zone and reinvented his social standing, joined a club, made many new friends and now possibly a new lady in his life. A learning experience like no other.    

 

Ben's Story - Ben had his own business as an electrician when he fell off a ladder at home of around 10 meters. From being unable to speak initially, he overcame many challenges and continues to inspire other members. He continues his fight against father alienation from his daughter, a problem facing many of the fathers in Change Thinking.      

 

Peewee's Story - a story you must hear. Abused by his father as a child, he is in his twenties when his father is handed a life imprisonment. After many challenges he becomes a father himself and the most joyous time is his life is shattered when his son, Jonathan is removed from his care at one year old of age by Child Services of South Australia in a bungle that is covered up and keeps him from his son to this day.   

 

Arun's Story - After jumping on a boat in India to flee the area and get to Australia. He and his ended up lost at sea for 85 days before being picked up by a shipping container. Eventually he makes it to Australia, has 2 children and then finds himself locked up for the past 2 years in Villawood Detention Centre. His struggle continues.  

Manbir's Story - After finding the girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life and buying a property together, he suddenly found himself rejected and isolated and driven out of his local community and forced to close his business down. "Bear" had to move and set himself up from scratch and today he is enjoying being a husband and father.
